The ugly frosted glass lamp I had in my bedroom wasn't up to scratch....
So I made a new one!




It references Josef Hoffmann's Sitzmaschine and the life of those who used it (ie. Tuberculosis patients) both literally and metaphorically. The precious cradling of a troubled organ within a fortified structure, the comfort of support opposed with the insecurity of the feeble strings suspending it.

So do you like it? It's sort of creepy in hindsight, but architectural and sexy too.
